My days are spent creating Ecclesiastical embroidery in the form of stoles and church textiles
where my love of hand stitching and fabulous threads is fulfilled.
This is a structured form of textile art, so, when not at my slate frame, my style is much freer and experimental.
I combine hand and machine stitch, singular or decorative, manipulating fabrics and substances
to create my twist on an image and a play on words.
I am currently experimenting with single use plastics, incorporating my plant-based dyed fabrics and threads to the reborn plastics .
I like to create a narrative with my pieces which is 'woven' into the artwork by the stitches.
