Creativity has been a very important part of life – with inspiration coming from many sources over the years. Initially my career in teaching enabled me to explore many different textile techniques but now delving into mixed media has given me new avenues to explore for creating textural pieces of work. Combining art and stitch has been a most rewarding aspect of my creative path.
I have taught Creative Textiles and City & Guilds Design & Embroidery for many years, but now am enjoying retirement. It has been a privilege to teach and inspire others to develop their creativity.
